Contact: Debbie Schaefer Chair Email: cckt@kingtoday.ca | ![]() Summary: Concerned Citizens of King Township (CCKT) is a citizens’ organization founded in 1971; we are focused on protecting the natural environment and rural character in King Township. In addition to our interest in farmland and small villages our 300 family members have a particular interest in the long-term protection of natural features such as wetlands, forests, kettle lakes. We set up regular meetings around the Township on relevant topics, bringing in informed guest speakers. We lead, sponsor and participate in events that promote preservation/enhancement of the natural environment. We facilitate community input to provide an open forum where members can express views on matters affecting the Township. We research/compile and share accurate information with various levels of governments, media and citizens. We support or act on behalf of residents on appropriate issues with the Township. |
